Welcome to WPea, a platform that provides managed WordPress hosting services and related tools. By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to be bound by the following Terms of Service, as well as our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use our services.

1. Overview of the Service

WPea is a managed WordPress hosting platform built on a multisite installation. Users can create and manage one or more WordPress subsites under the domain w-pea.com (e.g., yoursite.w-pea.com). Additional features include:

  • A fully managed WordPress environment
  • A personal filesystem
  • Security, performance, and maintenance optimizations
  • Centralized account management for all your subsites
  • Future support for custom domains, SSL certificates, and email accounts

2. Account Registration and Access

You may register and log in using your Google account. By doing so, you grant us permission to authenticate your identity using Google OAuth. You may optionally create a local password, though this is not recommended or encouraged. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and any credentials associated with it.

Location Information: To comply with applicable tax laws, particularly regarding Value Added Tax (VAT), you are required to provide accurate and up-to-date billing and location information during account setup or payment.

3. Subsite Creation and Acceptable Usage

You may create an unlimited number of subsites under the w-pea.com domain, covered by WPea’s wildcard SSL certificate.

Subsites are subject to the platform’s content and resource usage policies. Inappropriate use of your subsite(s), including but not limited to hosting illegal, harmful, or copyrighted material without permission, may result in suspension or termination. You agree not to use the platform to:

  • Host or distribute malware, spam, or phishing sites
  • Promote hate speech, violence, or unlawful activities
  • Infringe on intellectual property rights
  • Engage in resource abuse (e.g., excessive CPU or storage usage)

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts in violation of this policy without prior notice.

4. Payments and Billing

Users maintain a virtual wallet from which charges are deducted. Wallet balances are measured in credits. Each credit is equivalent to €0.01. Payments, conducted in Euros (€), can be made to top up your wallet balance.

VAT Application: VAT may be applied based on your country of residence or the country from which the service is used, in accordance with EU VAT regulations or other relevant jurisdictional laws.

Refunds: Refunds against your wallet balance are available upon request, subject to a €10 (1000 credits) handling fee per refund. Your wallet balance cannot be negative after the refund. Consequently, wallet balances less than or equal to 1000 credits cannot be refunded.

Storage Billing: The first 100MB of total storage per user is free. Beyond 100MB, users are billed 1 credit per additional MB per month. Storage includes: uploaded media, database size, user file storage, backups, and email data. Storage usage for a given period is averaged and rounded to the nearest MB. Charges are applied on a dynamic schedule, depending on the user’s storage use behavior.

Negative Balances: Users may carry a balance as low as -1000 credits (€-10). Once a user’s balance drops below that threshold, services (including subsites and email accounts) will be automatically suspended until a top-up is made. In order to unsuspend your account, you need to bring your wallet balance to zero or above.

5. Data and Storage Limits

Users are responsible for monitoring their storage usage through tools provided in the dashboard. We reserve the right to enforce storage and performance limitations to ensure system stability for all users.

6. Service Availability and Maintenance

While we aim to provide 24/7 uptime, w-pea.com may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance or technical issues. We make no guarantees regarding specific uptime percentages but will make reasonable efforts to maintain high availability.

7. Termination of Services

We may suspend or terminate your account for reasons including but not limited to:

  • Violation of these Terms
  • Abuse of the service
  • Repeated failure to maintain a positive wallet balance

You may also terminate your account at any time through your user dashboard. Refunds (minus handling fees) may be available upon request.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, w-pea.com shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including data loss or service downtime.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Updates will be posted on this page and may also be sent to users via email or platform notification. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
